‘Little Free Library’ in Highland Neighborhood Ordered to Close
A neighborhood free book exchange is ordered shut down by the Metropolitan Planning Commission.
The little box on Wilkinson Street has been chained shut.
Teresa Edgerton recently got a letter from the Metropolitan Planning Commission ordering her to shut down the "Little Free Library" because of a zoning violation.
A sign on the wooden box says "take a book, return a book". It's been an effort to encorage people to read.
