Michael 'Brandon' Gonyea, singer of the local band Black Water Bride, and two others were charged with possessing child pornography after a joint investigation. Attorney General Jeff Landry says agents arrested Gonyea on one count of possession of sexual abuse images of children under the age of 13. Also arrested on similar charges were Murray Bamburg and Jeffrey Payne.

Landry says anyone in the state that tries to abuse and prey on children will be brought to justice.

The band Black Water Bride announced their break up on Facebook shortly after learning of Gonyea's arrest and charges.
