It's not secret, the expectations for the LSU Football Program are high this year...like College Football Playoff high.

For good reason too. The team boasts a Heisman favorite in running back Leonard Fournette, along with Blue Chip NFL prospects like lineman Ethan Pocic and Shreveport's Tre'Davious White. Not to mention having a quarterback returning to the starting role in back-to-back seasons is something LSU has craved.

Bossier City's Brandon Harris returns to the starting QB slot for the Tigers, which means he won't need to spend time learning a playbook, digesting play-call-language, navigating a new campus...he's locked and loaded.

All of this is reflected by the other SEC Coaches, as they make their Preseason selections for the All-SEC Team...The Louisiana Radio Network has more:

"LSU has 13 players on the 2016 Preseason Coaches All-Southeastern Conference football team. The voting was done by the league’s coaches.

First-team selections are Leonard Fournette, Ethan Pocic, Kendell Beckwith and Tre’Davious White. The second-team selections are William Clapp, Malachi Dupre, Davon Godchaux, Arden Key and Jamal Adams.

Brandon Harris is on the third, along with Derrius Guice, Travin Dural and Lewis Neal."
