LSU Tigers Look Good in Second Spring Scrimmage
Senior quarterback Zach Mettenberger finished 21-of-35 for 247 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Running back Terrence Magee, looked excellent with 76 yards on seven carries.
The LSU Tigers had their second spring scrimmage on Thursday and ESPN is reporting that junior Jermauria Rasco (pictured left) showed that he will be a star player this season as he led the defense with three sacks.
LSU head coach Les Miles said, “Rasco had a nice day. He continues to improve with practice.”
The Tigers are breaking in a new center consisting of junior Elliott Porter, freshman Ethan Pocic and senior Josh Williford.
The Tigers will be off next week for spring break. Their spring game is scheduled for April 20.
