The LSU Tigers and the Miami Hurricanes kicked off the 2018 season with a battle at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. The Tigers blow away the Hurricanes 33-17.

But before the game, the two teams scuffled at mid field during warm-ups.

The LSU Tigers went on to win the fight on the field showing off a new offense led by QB Joe Burrow. Here are some of the highlights of the game:

LSU coach Ed Orgeron discusses his teams big win and his decision to play QB Joe Burrow.

The Tigers were ranked No. 25 while the Hurricanes were No. 8.

The player I am most impressed by is running back Nick Brossette who galloped 50 yards for a TD in the first half. He ended up with 125 yards and 2 touchdowns.

I also loved watching the command of the game Burrow had. The Ohio State transfer managed the game like a seasoned veteran. If you look at his numbers you might not be too impressed. He was 11-of-24 passing for 140 yards, but it looks like he's our guy.

The LSU defense performed as expected even scoring a pick 6 to give the Tigers a big lead.

Next up for the Tigers, Southeast Louisiana for the home opener at Tiger Stadium and then the Tigers begin SEC play on the road at Auburn.
