We've all seen the incredible stories of those associated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. After reading the information that I've included for you below, I decided to learn more about Make-A-Wish. Did you know that they grant the wishes of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories, on average, every 38 minutes. To provide this kind of hope and inspiration in children and their families, they need a strong support base, both in the form of financial contributions and in time given by dedicated volunteers. If you've ever thought about how you can make a difference in the lives of others, Make-A-Wish might just be a perfect fit! Shreveport, LA — On November 12, 2014, Make-A-Wish will welcome new wish granters in the Shreveport / Bossier area. Make-A-Wishwill be hosting a new volunteer orientation from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Monjunis. This orientation is open to all ages, but you must be 21 and over to help grant wishes.
