Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k

The American Cancer Society is hosting their annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k coming up Saturday, October 28th! This is one of their annual charity events and this year it'll be located at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS). Their goal is to make a world of less cancer and more birthdays!

Not only does this event help raise money for the American Cancer Society, but it also helps bring together those who have been impacted by cancer by building a community of support. Before the 5k survivors will be recognized and everyone is invited to get their hearts pumping with Zumba to get everyone warmed up.

If you are interested in more information on how you can donate or if you would like to sign up for the 5k you can do so here. The goal this year is to have over 1,000 walkers so please spread the word and share this with all your friends and family.
