Man Arrested for Sexually Assaulting 15-Year-Old Girl

A Shreveport man is behind bars, accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in west Shreveport late last night.

The girl's mother told police a family friend raped her daughter at her home on Broadway Avenue. Authorities caught up with 25-year-old Demarcus Horton, who tried to flee on foot.

Sex Crimes Detectives interviewed the victim and her mother, then charged Horton with one count of forcible rape. He's been booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
