Man Arrested for Stealing Girlfriend’s Bank Deposit

A former Pizza Hut employee's boyfriend has been arrested for stealing a deposit bag full of cash.

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator says James Winn of Shreveport was charged after an investigation revealed he stole a deposit bag containing more than $2,300 from Pizza Hut. Winn's girlfriend gave him the bag along with a deposit slip to take to the bank.

Winn was not employed by Pizza Hut, but had taken the deposits to the bank on several occasions for his girlfriend.

Bank records, video surveillance and statements from interviews showed Winn was in possession of the deposit, but never made it to the bank. He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
