The Haughton area has been the subject of many thefts and robberies over the last couple of weeks.  We're not sure if there's an official count, but my estimates put it around 7 or 8 cases of theft or robbery.

The latest activity involves the theft of a boat and fishing equipment from a storage unit on Bellevue Road.  Here's what we got from the Bossier Sheriff's Office press release:

Bossier Sheriff’s Office is seeking a man who stole a boat motor, GPS finder and other fishing equipment from a Haughton area storage facility.
Detectives are searching for a driver shown on surveillance video entering the Mega Storage at 1183 Bellevue Road in Haughton, around 12:20 on Feb. 2. He is described as a white male, driving what appears to be a light-colored Chevrolet Tahoe. The vehicle has no tags, and the front driver’s side is missing a lug nut cover.
The man broke into two storage units and stole a motor right off of a boat, in addition to taking the other fishing equipment, all estimated to be around $4,000. Four units were actually broken into at that storage facility, and although the other two break-ins are not on video, this same suspect is believed to have committed those crimes as well.
Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect or the vehicle he is driving is asked to contact Bossier Crime Stoppers with your anonymous tip at (318) 424-4100.

Take a look at the surveillance video they mentioned here to see if you can help identify the thief.
