Man Who Made KONY 2012 Detained For Lewd Conduct

Jason Russell, man who made internet sensation KONY 2012 movie, was arrested in San Diego this morning for public masturbation, vandalizing cars and public intoxication of some unknown substance.
From NBC San Diego ‘”Due to the nature of the detention, he was not arrested,” she said at a press conference. “During the evaluation we learned we probably needed to take him to a medical facility because of statements he was saying.”‘
Because of the situation, the police felt this was more of a medical situation, than a criminal situation, since they didn’t think he had “criminal intent”.
