Bossier and Shreveport police are on the hunt for multiple suspects in the MLK Neighborhood of Shreveport. The manhunt is enough of a concern to place Green Oaks High School into a lock down.

According to KSLA, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene at Jones Mabry and Narcissus Dr. in Shreveport, along with Shreveport Police and Caddo Deputies. They are looking for multiple suspects who are accused of multiple car thefts overnight in North Bossier. Authorities followed the suspects over the river and into Shreveport, where they gained the assistance of Shreveport and Caddo officers.

As of 11:40am, there are more than 2 dozen units on the scene from various departments.

Today’s manhunt comes less than a month since a Shreveport Police Officer was shot during a standoff in the Caddo Heights Neighborhood, where a woman also lost her life.

Police say the suspects are armed and dangerous, and the public should exercise extreme caution.
