March For Our Lives Scheduled in Shreveport/ Bossier

Previously we have documented the "March For Our Lives" that were scheduled in our surrounding areas. If you missed it check out the statements below.

If you are unfamiliar of the march, "March For Our Lives" is a protest for change, for action, and to end the epidemic of mass shootings in our schools today. From what I can see the majority of the events are being led by students.

The newest addition is the march that is scheduled for Shreveport/ Bossier City. The march will take place Saturday, March 24 at 11 am to 2 pm, and will begin at the Caddo Courthouse in downtown Shreveport.

This march will be hosted by NWLA High School Student's Mom's Demand Action SBC, Women's Democratic Club NWLA, SB Indivisible, Women's March Organizers SB, according to their event page on Facebook. The event page on Facebook also has a disclaimer stating that organizers are still in the process of getting proper permits so location could be subject to change.

If you are keeping an eye on the events- the majority are all being hosted and organized by students.
