Mardi Gras 2014: Krewe of Gemini Coronation [PHOTOS]

It was an evening of “Rhythm and Romance” as the Krewe of Gemini announced their royal court for the 2014-15 season.

The Krewe of Gemini hosted their coronation ceremony Saturday, August 2 at the Horseshoe Casino Riverdome. The theme was “Rhythm and Romance.”

Upon arrival, guests were encouraged to take part in a silent auction and mingle with one another. After indulging in a sit-down dinner, the royal court was announced, beginning with the formal announcement of this year’s Captain, Bernie Bitting.

The Krewe of Gemini has been celebrating Mardi Gras for 26 years now and they are the oldest Krewe in the Ark-La-Tex.
