Marlene Yu Museum Presents A Night Of Dance And Art

What a wonderful way to bridge the gap between performance art and visual art - and it's right here in Shreveport!

The Marlene Yu Museum is collaborating with Shreveport native, Bailey Harper, for a one-time dance performance, inspired by the vibrant paintings by Marlene Yu. Voted one of the top places to visit in Shreveport, the Marlene Yu Museum, located at 710 Travis Street, offers beautiful contemporary art, appreciated by all ages.

"Come take a walk with me, better yet, come dance with me. Together, let us explore the beauty of our relationships with one another and to this earth. Let's dance about love, our family, and our lives. Let's share this incredible space together," says Harper of the performance.

Come be a part of art presentation May 28, 2016 at 7:30 pm. Titled "Sabra," this unique 45- minute performance will be followed by a reception and meet and greet. Although this event is free, a $10 donation is suggested.
