Hi! My name is Bristol and I'm the new person on the air during your work day right after Cory and Elizabeth in the morning. I  know we've thrown a lot of changes at you at once, but all I ask is that you give us a try!

Even though I'm an Air Force brat, I consider myself a native to the area. I went to Sun City, Meadowview, Cope and Haughton High School. And yes, I'm the crazy horse lady on the radio!

My husband, Keith and I love Mardi Gras and LSU... All things Louisiana basically! We've served as past royalty for the Krewe of Atlas and rode with the Krewe of Centaur for the first time as members this year. We are HOOKED! In addition to horses and all things Louisiana, I also serve on several boards in the area and love to read. (Lately I've  been on a YA kick, don't ask!)

Hopefully some of you know me from the the decade plus I spent on K945 aka The Big Dog. (Yes, I am the person formerly known as the 'Party Girl PJ Lacey!') I've also lived and worked in radio in Cincinnati, OH, Cedar Rapids, IA and Syracuse, NY.

In addition to being on the air in Shreveport, I'm the 'voice' of the Pop Crush Top 20 countdown with Matt Ryan that can be heard on Townsquare Media stations nationwide. We air it locally Saturday mornings from 8-10am on K945. You can also hear me on great stations in Casper, WY, Atlantic City, NJ, Albany, NY, Yakima, WA, Missoula, MO, Lawton, OK and Lufkin and San Angelo, TX. It's amazing that I don't go hoarse, but I like to talk... a lot!

I can't tell you what an honor it is to be a part of the 96.5 KVKI. When I first fell in love with the station, I never knew that one day I would be a part of it. Both the late Howard Clark and Jeff Edmond were an inspiration to me. I also had the pleasure of working with Robert J. Wright and Erin McCarty back in the day at The Big Dog. Some of the greatest radio talent in our area have graced the air waves of KVKI and I feel blessed to join the roster.

I hope we can take a journey together over the next several years. I promise to do my best to entertain you and make your work day fly by with great music and commentary. I also hope that you reach out to me if there are any community events you need to get the word out on. I have great pride in our community and feel it's imperative to support each other, bake sales, fundraisers, whatever... it's all important!

Lastly, thank YOU for letting me spend the work day with you! Coffee anyone?
