Eight year old Hunter Briery of Benton is most likely going to be a break out star during this year's Kidd's Kids trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida! Meeting this little guy at the Kidd's Kids send off party at a private Southwest Airlines hangar at Love Field in Dallas was a pure joy, he greeted me with open arms wearing his red 'Super Hunter' cape tied around his neck. Hunter was full of excitement when he began telling me about the Star Wars Jedi training he was going to go through and how he was looking forward to the Tower of Terror.

Hunter, who has Spina Bifida, isn't going on the trip alone, his older brother Jessie (15) is going along with him along with his mom and dad Donna and Chris. This wonderful family from Benton is so thankful for KiddNation's support of Kidd's Kids and for this opportunity you have provided them and their family. The family answered some questions about the Kidd's Kids trip before leaving for the Kidd's Kids Foundation and here's what they had to say:

For each member of your party (particularly each child), please list their favorite animated Disney character or characters. Are there any special reasons why?

Hunter loves Mickey Mouse because he has a “hospital Mickey” that has been to every surgery and every hospital stay with him. This Mickey Mouse has been his one constant. Jessie loves Stitch because he gets in so much trouble but his family still loves him. Chris likes Yoda, he really likes all things Star Wars. Donna likes all thing that are princess and sparkly.

Which Walt Disney World attractions are members of your party most looking forward to riding?

Hunter and Jessie want to ride the Tower of Terror, and the Haunted Mansion ride. Hunter and Jessie also want to go to Jedi training. Chris and I want to go to Pandora the World of Avatar. We as a family also want to take a safari ride in Animal Kingdom

Which Walt Disney World Stage shows are members of your party most looking forward to seeing?

The Lion King show and Cirque du Soleil La Nouba

Do you, your Kidd’s Kid or any other members of your party have a favorite member of the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show team? If so, why?

Hunter likes Big Al Mack because he is funny on the radio. Jessie says he really likes Big Al and when he turns 21 wants to have a drink with him at his bar. Donna is more relatable to Kelli Rasberry, she seems to be family orientated like I am.

What do you think the most exciting part of the Kidd’s Kids Trip is going to be and why?

I think the most exciting part of this trip will be seeing all the kids having fun and not worrying about being sick or having to go to a doctor for at least five days. They just get to be happy smiling kids.

What are your Kidd’s Kid’s special interests (for example: science, art, theater, music)? Does he/she have any special goals?

Hunter loves to draw and has a very big active imagination, He is always telling stories and making up things in a good way. He also loves animals and for now he has his heart set on being a vet when he grows up.

As a parent, what are some of the things that you are looking forward to seeing your child do while on the Kidd’s Kids trip, and why?

Chris and I are looking forward to watching Hunter and Jessie experience the magic of Disney and seeing their faces light up with smiles as they get to live five days without medical issues getting in the way of things. I am also excited for them to meet new people and to hopefully make some friendships that will last a lifetime.

If your Kidd’s Kid will be on the trip with his/her sibling(s), what are the siblings looking forward to the most? What special things could happen for them?

Jessie wants to meet and hang out with Lilo and Stitch while eating at the ‘Ohana Dining.

Are there any attractions/shows that you (as a parent) want to make sure you see?

For Chris and I there is not any one thing that we want to see, We want to see our kids happy and worry free for just a few days and enjoy the experience with them.
