Opening statements were made yesterday. And, the unusual recordings of Michael Jackson were made public.

Today, witnesses began to be called up to the stand.

Early in the morning, an attorney for concert promoter AEG Live testified that Dr. Murray had requested a backstage CPR machine be included in Jackson's contract.

Before they broke for lunch, Michael Jackson's personal assistant told the jury about the phone call he received from the doctor after the death. He said Murray never told him to call 911.

The personal assistant also said that Dr. Murray was trying to get back into Jackson's house the night after the pop star died... That he needed to get an "ointment that would be embarrassing to Jackson."

One of the final witnesses was a former security chief who explained that Michael Jackson was fine the night before he died. He testified that the rehearsal "was excellent, it was high-energy."
