A big win for Moonbot Studios of Shreveport.

The local movie studio wins two Daytime Emmy® awards for “The Scarecrow” animated short film and game. Moonbot gets the trophy for Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program and Outstanding New Approaches – Original Daytime Program or Series, recognizing excellence in interactive media productions.

“The Scarecrow” was the only program released on YouTube to win awards at the 41st annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards. These awards recognize technical and artistic achievements in all fields of daytime television production.
The awards were accepted by film and game co-directors, Limbert Fabian and Brandon Oldenburg.

“The Scarecrow” animated short has garnered over 12 million views on YouTube and the project recently was honored with six Webby and People’s Choice Awards.

Both the film and game are designed to help educate people about the world of industrial food production that supplies much of what they eat.
