Black Friday shopping has been a tradition for many people who love to get deals before Christmas. But the retailers are changing the play book for this year. Many will be open on Thanksgiving Day.

Many stores will actually open their doors on Thanksgiving day or night to get a jump start on the early Friday morning deals. K-Mart is planning to open at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day!

Target has also announced that stores will be open for customers to come in on Thanksgiving night, though the exact hour has not yet been revealed. Other stores that have already announced their early plans are WalmartKohl's, and JCPenney.

For the first time in their long and storied history, Macy's is also going to have its stores open on Thanksgiving so that customers can get more shopping done. Will you be out shopping on Thanksgiving Day or will you wait until Black Friday?

Store information for additional retailers will be added as it is announced. Check back.
