Here is a video that has gone viral on the internet, being shared more than 40,000 times and liked by 8,000 Facebook users. The video shows a boy that is being forced to hold heavy books above his head while chanting "I will not disrespect my teacher." The punishment is happening because of the boy's behavior at school.

Some people are praising the mother because of her choice of punishment, while others are saying that it is causing emotional abuse.

The mother and another person filming watch the boy as he starts crying, but they do not let him bring the books down. At one point, the person by the camera laughs.
