Movie Filming Causes Road Closures in Shreveport
Motorists may be inconvenienced some today because of movie filming in Shreveport.
All day today until about 8 o'clock tonight, the off-ramp of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway will be closed from the Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge heading east, and one eastbound lane on the Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge will be shut down.
Monday, from 6 am until 1 pm Clyde Fant Parkway southbound lanes will be closed between Lake Street and Preston Avenue with traffic delays on the northbound lanes between Lake Street and Preston Avenue.
Motorists are being advised to avoid these areas and take alternate routes. City officials apologize for any inconveniences.
THE MOVIE BEING FILMED is "The Iceman," starring James Franco, Michael Shannon, Winona Ryder, Ray Liotta, Chris Evans, and David Schwimmer. Shooting is scheduled to end January 28th.
"The Iceman" is a drama thriller based on the life of notorious Mafia assassin Richard Kuklinski. It is due to be released in 2013.
