"The Bespoke Tailoring of Mr. Bellamy" is the winner of this year's $50,000 Louisiana Film Prize first prize. The fifteen minute movie, produced and directed by Alexander Jeffrey, is about a homeless man who teaches himself sewing skills. It was chosen as the best from among twenty finalists.

"Bellamy" star Stan Brown was given the award for best actor, 8-year-old Georgia Rose Bell, the co-star of "Two Roads", was selected as best actress.

Other films rounding out the top five were "American Virgin", "Honey and the Hive", "Hut Hut" and "Jackdaw".
