A suspect has been named in the shooting death of a Shreveport man.

Shreveport Police detectives say that back on July 17, 2016, Shreveport Police officers were called to the 100 block of North Greenbrook Loop. There they found 35-year-old Kevin White of Shreveport suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. White later died at University Health hospital.

After launching an investigation, Shreveport Police have named 31-year-old Labroderick Alexander as the suspect in the crime. Police believe Alexander fatally wounded White following a verbal dispute at the North Greenbrook Loop home. Alexander now has a warrant issued for his arrest, charging him with a single count of Second Degree Murder. Bond has already been set at $500,000.00.

Persons with any information on the whereabouts of Labroderick Alexander are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or visit their website at www.lockemup.org.
