Within days of her brutal murder, 53-year-old Angela Godley agreed to a consent judgment to pay for overdue music rights.

The judgment was agreed to by Godley and the plaintiffs to settle a federal lawsuit over music rights. Godley, as owner of The Noble Savage Tavern was sued by Broadcast Music Inc (BMI), EMI Virgin Songs, Concord Music group and others.
