There’s a movement among LSU Health Shreveport  medical students to get know their patients beyond their medical history. It's part of a national initiative called, "Tell Me More."

The idea began in 2014 when Mount Sinai medical students noticed the depersonalization of many patients and wanted to find a way to counteract this trend. The medical school faculty began  encouraging students to ask more personal questions and “Tell Me More” was born. The next year, 85 institutions participated, with even more, including LSU Health Shreveport, on board for this year..
