Pink’s ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ Video Is Sexy and Sad

Pink has never been one to shy away from exploring the eclectic in both her music and videos, so the surreal new video for her ballad “Just Give Me A Reason” shouldn’t strike anyone as surprising.
Pink announced the release of the video on her Twitter page this week, which is par for the course for pop stars these days.
Hi errrbody! My new video “Just Give Me A Reason” is out @ 5P ET! I’m sooo excited to share it with u! Check it out vevo.ly/Ws85gj

In the video, Pink lies on a bed floating on a dark, smokey sea, cozies up to real-life husband Carey Hart and croons: “It’s been written in the scars on our hearts/That we’re not broken just bent/And we can learn to love again.”
It’s a case of art imitating life; Pink and Hart had split up in 2008 after two years of marriage before reuniting almost a year later.
“Just Give Me A Reason” also features fun. singer Nate Ruess, who compliments Pink’s somber voice with his well-known manic one. It’s a combination that needs to be heard to be believed.
