Top Paid Actors In 2010
Forbes magazine is out with its list of the top paid actors for last year. We run em down from 5-1.
5. Tom Hanks ($35 million): Hanks' latest film, Larry Crowne, didn't do his career justice, earning less than $100 million. But the actor still makes some serious bucks from voicing Woody in Toy Story.
4. Will Smith ($36 million): Smith's career has taken a backseat while he focusses on the careers of his children. But he did produce "The Karate Kid", which starred son Jaden, and is developing a remake of Annie for daughter Willow. He did get a pretty nice paycheck for Men in Black III, set for release in May.
3. Adam Sandler ($40 million): Sandler doesn't get much love from the critics, but you love his movies. His most recent film, Just Go With It, earned $214 million at the global box office.
2. Johnny Depp ($50 million): Depp drops from first to second on the list. His Depp's next role is in Dark Shadows, directed by, you guessed it, Tim Burton.
1. Leonardo DiCaprio ($77 million): He moves up to number 1 on the list after being number 5 last year. He had two pretty big hits, Shutter Island and Inception. This year he'll star in J. Edgar, a film about the famous FBI director, directed by Clint Eastwood.
