“Occupy” Protests In Shreveport This Weekend

Photo: Wiki Commons/David Shankbone

For about a month now, protesters across the country have been gathering to show their disgust at big bank bailouts, and what they feel are unfair policies against the Middle Class.

This weekend, the movement comes to Shreveport-Bossier.

The local rally is set for Saturday morning, the 14th, at 10am.

The Shreveport protesters will gather downtown, near the Caddo Parish Courthouse.

What’s kind of interesting to me is that, according to a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, Americans now support the Occupy movement more than they do the Tea Party… By a two-to-one margin.

Robert and Erin will be talking about the Shreveport protest tomorrow morning. And, KTBS 3 has more info on the planned protest.
