Gusher Days Festival is celebrating its 36th year of honoring north Caddo Parish's primary industry - oil. The discovery and production of oil was the catalyst for forming this city and it was the site of the first over water oil drill on Caddo Lake.

The festival features all day entertainment, food booths, craft booths, archery tournament, bass fishing tournament and a carnival that starts Friday evening and carries over in to festival day on Saturday.

Gusher Days will run from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm on Friday, May 1 and will run as follows on Saturday, May 2.

6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Gusher Days Bass Fishing Tournament on Caddo Lake. Weigh in at 3:00 pm
8 a.m. – 12 p.m. - Archery Shoot Out
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. - Car and Motorcycle Show
10 a.m. – 8 p.m. - Vendor Booths
10 a.m. – 8 p.m. - Entertainment
10 a.m. – 10 p.m. - Amusements
