A police officer in Texas has been credited for the saving the life of a 3-year-old boy.

The toddler, Brayden Geis, was unconscious and not breathing when Officer Chase Miller arrived and that's when he sprung into action.

The officer performed CPR on the toddler for about two minutes and then EMS arrived on the scene. However, when they arrived the child was breathing thanks to Officer Miller.

Since then, the city has presented the responding officer with the Life Saving Award. When Miller met the young boy on the day he was recognized for his lifesaving efforts, the officer gave Brayden toys.

Here's a great story that shows what police really do.
