Popular Singers Who Were Rejected By American Idol

The new season of American Idol is kicks off March 11, 2018 on ABC. This year we have a local connection with Garrett Jacobs, a senior from Benton High School, competing for the title. It's no secret that Idol has made a lot of stars, but the show has also rejected a lot of people who have went on to find stardom on their own.

Can you imagine country music today without Kane Brown, Maren Morris and Hillary Scott (Lady Antebellum)?  They were all rejected from the show... never making it past the first round... It's safe to say they did just fine on their own! How about Naya Rivera and Amber Riley from Glee? They were rejected as well as Colbie Caillat!
