This woman didn't let her pregnancy stop her from chasing down a would-be thief.

26-year-old Christina Braswell says that a man identified as Robert Raines was rummaging through her SUV in a Walmart parking lot when she exited the store. Witnesses say they confronted the man when they saw him going through Braswell's purse.

When I walked out of Walmart, he had her purse and was pulling all of her stuff out. Then me and my friend told him to put it down and 'What are you doing?'

When Raines was confronted he took off running, dropping some of her belongings in the process. The pregnant woman said she started to run after him, but decided to pursue him her SUV instead.

He was with my purse and he took off and I took off after him. Me being five months pregnant, I chased a little ways then come back, jumped in the car, threw it in gear and come across the curb and ran him over. I was not going to let him get away with it. It's not right, it's not fair.

The man suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. He is being charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny and misdemeanor damage to property after Braswell claimed he broke the screens on a few of her mobile devices.

Braswell isn't off the hook, as police are charging her with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon.
