If Rachel Bilson had her way, there would for sure be a reboot of The O.C., but unfortunately the power does not lie in her hands.

While talking to ET at an event for her upcoming ABC series, Take Two, the actress expressed interest in a reunion of the show, which premiered 15 years ago.

“I mean, I would do it. I’ll tell you about three people that wouldn’t do it – five people? Six people? Eight people, let’s be honest,” she said before joking about how the reboot would have to be called “Summer Time in the O.C.” after her character, Summer Roberts.

The 36-year-old admitted she doesn't remember what she did yesterday, but can still recall her first time stepping onto The O.C. set.  “It was pretty crazy. I guess I didn’t really know what to expect. I think we kind of felt like, ‘Oh, this could be a special thing,’” she said, adding, “It was a weird time, but it was a lot of fun.”

Though a reboot seems unlikely at this point, Bilson admits her Take Two character Sam Swift has a bit of Summer in her.

“Summer was so long ago that I don’t really remember what she’s like,” Bilson admitted. “She was a lot younger, but I think you always bring a part of yourself to a character, so I think there’s definite elements of that for sure.”
