Rear Facing Car Seat Vs. Front Passenger Airbag [Video]

If you are a parent, especially one of smaller children who are required to ride in a car seats, this video is for you!

The Danville Fire Department recorded a video of a training session for auto extrication. They placed an infant seat in the front seat of a mini van to see the results of the airbag's force. The seat was placed as they had seen during various car seat checks in numerous cars. The car seat was NOT placed or secured properly.

The purpose of this video is to open the eyes of those that choose to allow their infant/child to ride in the front seat. Parents: pay attention!
