Red River South Marina: Latest Flood Photos

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington visited Red River South Marina and Resort this weekend to get a first hand look at the flooding devastation.

Barbara Horton and her husband, Bob, have managed Red River South Marina since it opened in April 2007. Horton reports that 34 cabins, five mobile homes and about 10 RVs and vehicles were flooded, as she was unable to contact numerous RV owners in time to avoid the rapidly rising waters.

Horton added that she and her husband are losing lots of revenue from not being open, but she is optimistic about the future.
