Remember the Comic Strip ‘Calvin & Hobbes’? It’s Coming To the Movies! (Video)

It’s been almost 20 years since cartoonist Bill Watterson ended his legendary comic strip ‘Calvin & Hobbes’. But in the intervening years the strip remains as popular as ever with tens of thousands of ‘C&H’ anthologies and collections selling annually. So now, fans, get ready for ‘Calvin & Hobbes, The Movie’…sort of.

‘Dear Mr. Watterson’ is a new documentary by filmmaker Joel Schroeder about the career of the highly successful cartoonist and his famous characters, and the influence they continue to have today on both fans and other artists.

Having played to critical acclaim at various film festivals, ‘Dear Mr. Watterson’ will premiere in selected theaters nationwide in mid-November.
