A few new in-game models have appeared to be added into World of Warcraft's upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion, with file names hinting that they are intended to act as a tribute to the late, great Robin Williams.

Wowhead reports that three models with the non-player character name of "Robin" are being added into World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor. This was likely made in response to a petition, signed by 11,000 people, requesting that Blizzard make a character paying tribute to Robin Williams in World of Warcraft. Williams was an avid fan of video games, naming his daughter Zelda, and known for playing World of Warcraft during its earlier years.

As you can see below, we have three in-game models for the supposed Robin Williams character. There is a traditional human male, a human female and a wind elemental (which was previously used for the Siamat and Asaad boss fights in the Cataclysm expansion). We expect that that the wind elemental will be slightly changed to look more like the Genie character from 'Aladdin', which Williams voiced in 1992. The female character is obviously a reference to Williams' 'Mrs. Doubtfire' character, and the male human looks like Williams' regular visage.

While nothing is set in stone, we're glad to see that Blizzard is openly paying tribute to the beloved actor, unlike someone. Nevertheless, these characters will be officially added to World of Warcraft when the Warlords of Draenor expansion launches on Nov. 13.
