Rookie Tries to Brave the Crowd at Dillard’s

I'm not really sure what I was thinking, but I decided to venture out on New Years Day to that annual monster sale at Dillard's in Mall St. Vincent.

Everything with a pink sticker was an additional 50% off.

I've never done this before and it became quite apparent I'm a rookie.

Here's what it looked like when the doors opened:

I'm embarrassed to say my anxiety kicked in. I never left the men's section. I bought a few things for my boys and then had to get out of there.

People with far more experience than I had armfuls of everything from Christmas stuff to clothes to gift items. I don't even want to tell you what was happening in the ladies shoe department. Let's just say some of the behavior was not ladylike.

When I got back to my car, there was not a parking spot to be had anywhere near Dillard's. Needless to say, I had several cars following me as I walked out after only about 30 minutes inside with the crowd!
