Rumor Confirmed – U2 To Perform On Finale Of Idol

... Or at least part of the band... After weeks of speculation and rumors, it's now kind of official!

Perez Hilton is now reporting that Bono and The Edge will perform on the season finale of American Idol tomorrow night, Wednesday.

The bands manager, Paul McGuinness, mentioned the news Sunday night after the Billboard Music Awards to a reporter... Then added, "Maybe that’s supposed to be a secret."

But when you say something like that to a Hollywood reporter, it's not a secret any more!
