Scarlett Johansson has split from her husband, journalist Romain Dauriac, after two years of marriage.

The couple's separation was confirmed on Wednesday (January 25) by US Weekly, though neither party nor reps have offered a statement. Johansson and Dauriac confirmed their engagement in September 2013 after a year of publicly dating, and they share a 2-year-old daughter named Rose.

Johansson praised her relationship with Dauriac in a 2015 interview with Paradedescribing how it differed from her first marriage to actor Ryan Reynolds.

"[Marriage] takes a lot of work. It takes a man who’s not only confident in the love that you have for one another, but confident in what he has going on in his own career,” the Avengers star said. "He has to be in a field that’s completely different from yours. My husband’s also involved in art. What’s important to him is the recognition that he gets from his job, and that has nothing to do with my job."

French-born Dauriac is the former editor of Clark, a now-defunct French urban art magazine, and reportedly now manages a creative agency. The two were introduced by Paris tattoo artist Fuzi Uvtpk.

This is a developing story.
