The Caddo Sheriff's Office dive team has concluded the search for Kevin Deleon for the day, and he's still not been found. The team will be back out tomorrow morning to try again.

Multiple agencies are involved in a Red River search for a 23-year-old Bossier City man who either fell or jumped from the Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge early this morning.

Bossier City police say at around 4:30 a.m., a small pick-up truck that was being pushed by four men and a woman in the outside westbound lane of the bridge was rear-ended by a full-sized pick-up truck headed westbound.

The collision caused 23-year-old Kevin Deleon to go over the side of the bridge and into the Red River. The Bossier City Fire Department is conducting a search on the river for him. The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office and Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office are assisting with that search.

Another man who was with the group pushing the small pickup truck was taken to a local hospital with what were believed to be none life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup that rear-ended the truck suffered minor injuries and refused transport to a hospital.

Police learned Deleon and the others were pushing the pickup after it ran out of gas. Police had to close the westbound span of the bridge for about three-and-a-half hours this morning.

Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the accident.
