Selena Gomez Tells Us Everything We Need to Know About Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and That Illustrious Purity Ring

So what did happen to that purity ring Selena Gomez sported when she was 13?

Selena Gomez recently did an interview with London's Sunday Times. In it we received answers to some of the most burning Gomez questions we've been asking. Like, what's it like always being linked to Justin Bieber? What's it like being friends with Taylor Swift? Or what happened to that purity ring?

As for Justin, Selena says although she has moved on, it's still hard for people to keep from mentioning him every time her name comes across their lips, "It’s difficult for people to separate us. The Internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it." She then went on to say she doesn't regret the relationship. "I didn’t think I was doing anything bad by falling in love. There’s such an emphasis on people being the perfect thing and then destroying them because it’s good press," she said.

Selena says that she is dating, but remains single because she's "working my butt off."

She thanks Taylor Swift for keeping her grounded. "I can count on one hand the people I could call and who would be there for me. Taylor is one of the greatest people," she says. How great you ask? Taylor was there when Selena broke up with her first great love, Nick Jonas. "I was really sad about it, she flew into town with homemade cookies and a bunch of junk food. To this day, if I called her, she would do the same thing, despite being one of the busiest people in the world.”

Speaking of Nick, remember when the two of them sported matching purity rings?

When asked about wearing the ring she said, "I’m not embarrassed to say that. I’m also not embarrassed to say that the ring has come off. I got it when I was 13 and I respect so much what it represented, but it isn’t for everyone.”

Selena also spoke about her love-hate relationship with fame, but ultimately she loves her job more than anything.
