Surprise! Selenators, Selena Gomez just dropped her latest single and music video for 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' -- and we've never seen the singer-actress more raw and real.

The emotionally-charged, black-and-white video starts out with a tearful confession from Selena, who painfully recalls the heartache of a difficult relationship.

"When I was on stage and I was thinking of… I felt like I know him though, and I know that I know his heart and I know [that] he wouldn't do [it] to hurt me. But I didn't realize that feeling so confident and feeling so great about myself and then it just be completely shattered by one thing. By something so stupid," Selena cries. "But then you make me feel crazy, you make me feel like it's my fault. I'm just in pain."

Of course, the seemingly obvious culprit here is Justin Bieber, who has been back-and-forth with Selena ever since they split in late 2012 after two years together. The pair have been on-and-off for years, seemingly back together at times but very much on the outs at others. And the Biebs has not been shy about posting some intimate photos of himself with models. So, is 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' actually about Justin Bieber? While only Selena Gomez knows for sure, we'll let the chorus speak for itself:

"The bed's gettin' cold and you're not here, the future that we hold is so unclear / But I'm not alive until you call, I know about the odds against it all," Selena sings on the refrain. "Save your advice 'cause I won't hear, you might be right but I don't care / There's a million reasons why I should give you up -- but the heart wants what it wants."

'The Heart Wants What It Wants' will be released on 'For You,' Selena Gomez's upcoming greatest hits collection, which is slated to drop on Nov. 24.
