We offen envy those that are famous, but being a celebrity isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Just ask Sheryl Crow. She's had to get a restraining order against a "deeply distrubed" fan.

45-year-old Philip Gordon Sparks is a fan of Sheryl Crow's that has been posting "disturbing" messaged to Facebook about her. The posts were said to be rambling and delusional angry rants filled wit profanity.

The posts even accused her of breaking into Sparks home and looking for his gun, stealing money from him, and trying to have him arrested.

Things got serious when Sparks claimed to go to the Screen Actors Guild and tell an employee there that he would "just shoot her," meaning Crow. That is what prompted the singers petition for a restraining order.

The restraining order isn't just for Crow. She is also looking to protect her along with sixteen others including her two sons, her manager, other family and employees.

On August 14 a hearing will be held to see if the temporary restraining order should be made permanent
