I don't know about you, but I am all about getting all my work done at the start of the day. All the paperwork, all the meetings and all the returned phone calls. I never knew why, until now.

A new survey in the Daily Mail asked people to name the time of the day when they're least productive, and the average answer was 2:55 p.m. The most productive time of the day was 10:26 a.m.

So, why is just before 3 p.m. the least productive? The best guess would be that that's when you're finally awake, done checking email and ready to do what you're supposed to do.

Now, once the 2:55 p.m. mark comes, it's time to start winding up or the second-wind to kick in. The second-most productive time of the day is 4:16 p.m., when people are scrambling to get stuff done so they can leave on time.
