Will There Be a Snowstorm in Shreveport Bossier This Year? [PICTURES]
It doesn’t snow in Shreveport Bossier very often, but when it does both cities and the surrounding area pretty much shuts down. The first thing that closes is I-220 because it is mostly made of bridges which freeze over first with snow and ice.
The roads around here were not designed for that type of weather and most of us have no experience driving in snow or on roads with ice. The last time we got snow was a couple of years ago. We got excited like everyone else and took a few pictures.

They said the New Orleans Saints would win the Superbowl when hell froze over. Well, the saints won and we got hit by a snowstorm. The writing on the windshield says, “Saints win, hell froze.”
