Shreveport Councilwoman Surprised Crump ‘Still A Story’ [VIDEO]

Shreveport City Councilwoman Stephanie Lynch tells KEEL that she is surprised that the controversy surrounding Police Chief Alan Crump "is still a story." The Chief, who fired his weapon while in pursuit of two burglary suspects, is on administrative leave with pay while the incident is being investigated.

Lynch defends the Chief from criticism from other council members, telling KEEL listeners that it is "paradoxical that some members are calling for his firing, even though he's been on the job for less than a year." Lynch also says that she thinks that the economy and  jobs, not the increasing crime rate, will be the number one issue in next year's mayoral election.
