Shreveport Dog Park Fight Is Over [POLL]

The dog park battle in Shreveport is over and a dog park is on the way at the Stoner Boat Launch site on the riverfront.

Shreveport Dog Park Alliance Director Cynthia Keith is excited with the City Council vote.

What happens now? Keith tells us she will work with the Mayor and Spar to continue with the design work and get the project out for bids. She does tell us that Shreveport is expected to set up a sign-up system for using the dog park. You would have to get a tag which will let your dogs play in the area. This will insure that all of the dogs have current shots. She did not give us a projected date of completion, but does hope it is now on the fast track.
