Shreveport Downtown Airport Anniversary

Driving around town, we sometimes forget about all the things that surround us.
For example, take the Downtown Airport. Did you realize that this year marks the 80th anniversary?
It can trace its history all the way back to 1931.
And they are throwing a free party, a “fly-in” if you will, this weekend.
The celebration is this Saturday, the 17th, from 9am until 2pm. It’s free and everyone is welcome.
There will be music from Buddy Flett and Miki Honeycutt, historic aircraft, and more.
